It’s been a while since I’ve seen Hunter and I’m so glad Ive gotten to spend time with him recently! We have really big feelings about seeing dogs on walks but last week he killed it on his outing! We play lots of engage/disengage, pattern games, leash walking practice, and settling (which he’s gotten so good at!) during our training walks! Everyone tell Hunties good job!!👏🏼

Today was my last walk with Miss Mille since she’s moving out of Texas😭🩷

I’ve been seeing Millie every week for months to go on training walks and work on her reactivity. I’m so proud of all the progress she’s made and I didn’t think I’d cry as much as I did saying bye to her today.

She’ll be the best loose leash walker in her new neighborhood!

I love you so much Millie! 💓

Been watching my bff and craziest pup I know, Keira! I met her as a puppy in kindergarten classes and now she’s 10 months old🥹

Malinois are amazing but not for the average dog owner! They’re extremely smart and driven dogs. Our 2 weeks have been filled with long sniffy walks, enrichment, chompy teeth, cuddles, and having her yell at shadows.

I love her so much and have enjoyed my time with her but I know that even though I’m a dog trainer, I personally don’t have the energy for such a driven dog!

I’ve loved being a stand in mal mom for 🩷

The boys, Galileo and Dante, working so hard on being calm around their kitty roommate. No work with the kitty this time, just getting them to be calm and focusing around her bedroom. They’ve made so much progress! (it helps that they’re geniuses❤️)

Small dogs can have a really tough time of it. Because they are small they are not always respected and listened to as much as larger breeds. Is it then any wonder that they become scared and vocal about their fear and wish to be left alone?

Very important for everyone to realize!

There is nothing natural about large numbers of unfamiliar dogs partaking in high-intensity activity in a dog park, and this shouldn’t be the benchmark for a social dog. If your dog is not their best in such an environment, you are not doing anything wrong. 👏👏 There is nothing wrong with your dog. 👏👏 Your dog is normal. 👏👏
