Meet Oscar! 🐾 This sweet boy was an absolute rockstar during his transformation today.

We are sharing his journey for educational purposes, and we want to start by saying: our page is a judgment-free zone. We will not tolerate negative comments toward owners. Life happens, and we are here to help and educate, not to shame.

As you can see, what looks like a fluffy coat on top can often hide "pelted" matting underneath. You can see the difference between the matted top layer and the skin once we were able to safely shave it away.

A quick pro-tip: When brushing your doodles or curly-coated friends, make sure you are brushing all the way down to the skin! Often, brushes only catch the top layer, leaving the base to tangle. Oscar is feeling so much lighter and happier now! ❤️
