September 11, 2001, is a day we will never forget.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the countless families forever changed by that day.

We also remember the brave search and rescue dogs who worked tirelessly alongside their handlers in the aftermath, searching through the devastation and bringing comfort to those who were grieving.

Their courage, dedication, and service will never be forgotten. Today, we honor every life lost, every hero who answered the call, and every animal who played a part in the rescue and recovery efforts.

Never forgotten.
