✨ Starting Point Sport Horses | Raleigh Holiday Classic ✨

What an incredible way to kick off the new year! We are so proud of everyone at the Raleigh Holiday Classic—so many moves up, milestones reached, and firsts accomplished this week.

🐴 Kalayah & Short and Sweet were Champion in their very first jumper outing and are already halfway qualified for Pony Finals. Kalayah and Miss Ellie also stepped up to the Medium Green Ponies, laying down beautiful trips and gaining great experience.

🎉 Andrea had a huge show—earning Reserve Champion in her first time in the jumpers with Petite Noir, moving up to the Junior Hunters with Dreams Afire, and qualifying So You Say for Pony Finals.

🥂 Congratulations to Kristen Brown & Tequila on qualifying for the Amateur Hunter Championships and the Adult Gladstone Cup—an exciting achievement!

☀️Angela Stanaway’s Dreams Afire was Reserve Champion in the Greens with Pat!

🌿 Amazing Dream Along, owned by Jenna Konitzer, was Reserve Champion in the Baby Greens with Pat in the irons. Jenna and iCloud also showed major improvement with every trip—hard work paying off.

A huge thank you to Pat Vogtle for all of his help and support throughout the week. We couldn’t ask for a better way to start the year—onward and upward from here! 💫🐎

What an amazing two weeks for the SPSH crew!

From the Kentucky Summer Classic to USEF Pony Finals, our riders and ponies showed tremendous growth both in and out of the ring. We saw beautiful trips, higher scores, and—most importantly—great sportsmanship and teamwork every step of the way.
At the Kentucky Summer Classic, our riders put in solid rounds that set the tone for Finals week. By the time we got to Pony Finals, everyone was riding with confidence, focus, and a clear determination to put their best forward.

We’re so proud of the progress each rider made—whether it was learning to adapt to new challenges, riding with polish under pressure, or simply supporting teammates from the rail. Every step forward, big or small, is a win in our book.

Here’s to hard work paying off, memories made, and a bright road ahead for SPSH! 💫🐴
