Becki Alt Lanhardt Dog Park Becki's dream was to have a safe, fun, friendly park for dogs to run and play. We have a place, but a lot of work needs to be done!

Becki appeared before the city council to ask the city to consider finding a place in our park for a dog park. Donations may be made to:

🐶”Bark to the Park, Becki Alt Lanhardt Dog Parade” was a success and we had so much fun!There were so many cute dogs. Thanks to everyone that came out and to our sponsors for all of the wonderful prizes that were donated! Here is a small sampling of the pictures that were taken. I’ll be posting more soon.

🥳Congratulations to all of our winners. The judges had some very tough decisions. Becki would be so proud of how this special dog park has brought all of these people and dogs together. 💕

Thanks to everyone who registered for the "Bark to the Park, Becki Alt Lanhardt Dog Parade."

We are looking forward to a fun day with you and your furry friend. A few notes about the parade:

You and your puppy should arrive no later than 11:45am so that we have time to get everyone checked in.

Line up will be held at the entrance to the Petersburg City Park along the fence line towards the tennis courts.

Please check in at the registration table and get a number for your dog.

The parade route will be from the entrance to the City Park to the Becki Alt Lanhardt Dog Park.

Prizes baskets will be awarded in the following categories:
Cutest
Best Costume
Most Patriotic
Best Trick
Best of Show

Every dog will receive a free goody bag. All prizes and goody bags were donated by our generous local businesses. Please remember that these are the businesses that support our community and help make events like this possible. Thank them when you get a chance.

We will have t-shirts for purchase. They will be $20 each, cash only. All proceeds will go to the Grant County Dog Pound. Limited quantity and sizes available. The dog pound does have a few puppies that are still up for adoption if you are looking to adopt.

Don't forget to clean up after your dogs if they leave anything behind!
