We sat down for a little Q&A with the newest Aussie in town: Darwin! 🌏🎤

Q: Hi Darwin! What's your favorite place?
A: Your lap. Any lap, really. But YOUR lap is best.

Q: What's your favorite song?
A: Me singing good morning to you! Meow meow meow... until you notice me and pick me up. Then it's purrs.

Q: Who are your best friends?
A: You! And my two sisters, Adelaide and Sydney. We do everything together.

Our Aussie city litter is new to the Lounge! If they are comfortable and settled in, visitors will have the pleasure of meeting them this weekend.

If they are not fully comfortable yet, visitors will be limited to potential adopters with an approved application. We want to keep things nice and calm for them while they find their comfort zone. Come say g'day!

Please help us find a home for Ben and Cole... PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! ❤️🐾

Sharing this post could help us reach someone new, someone who has never met these two wonderful boys but might just be the family they've been waiting for.

You will find no cats sweeter or kinder than Ben and Cole. There’s no spice here, just tentative love, gentle affection, and two boys who want to feel safe and loved.

Ben is the more outgoing tabby, always ready to be part of the action. Cole is the handsome gentleman in his black suit, a little more cautious at first but incredibly loving once he knows you.

Yes, both boys have a health history, and we will discuss their journey with potential adopters. The important thing is that they are feeling fine and dandy, happy and thriving, and we hope they have a long, wonderful future ahead of them.

They’re bonded, they’re special, and they’re waiting.

Did you visit last weekend? Did you notice it was just a tad bit warm (80+ degrees 🥵) and humid 💦 in the Lounge?

You weren't imagining it... our AC was on the fritz! 🙀

Thanks to our good friends at Valley Comfort Heating and Air we are now "back in business" and much cooler, just in time for the heatwave this week! ❄️ We so appreciate their fast service and their professional, knowledgeable and kind technicians.

While we still have a little maintenance to do with them, we are SO much better for the kitties, the humans, and all our visitors.

This is just another way your donations are put to work. You know we receive no government funding, right? When the AC breaks, when the kitties need meds, when the litter needs buying it's all us.

How do you identify four free-roaming black cats that all look alike? 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Different color collars often come off, and there is also that danger of them getting hooked through their mouths. Nail polish, etc. can be toxic...

So we gave them their own individual haircuts! ✂️

At a glance we can now safely tell who's who. (Don't worry, it's just a little trim, and they are still 100% gorgeous... and of course it does grow back!)
