Comfort, compassion, and care — every step of the way. ❤️

This sweet pup was feeling a little nervous during their visit, so Dr. Patrolia took the time to slow down, build trust, and make sure they were comfortable before moving forward with the exam.

Sometimes, the best medicine is a little patience, a gentle approach, and meeting each pet where they are. At Petal Animal Clinic, we believe every pet deserves to feel safe, heard, and cared for. 🐾

Looking for a veterinarian who takes the time to make your pet feel comfortable? Book an appointment with Dr. Patrolia today!

Join us in celebrating our very own Jayce Sanders on FIVE amazing years at Petal Animal Clinic! 🐾

Jayce started with us five years ago as a kennel technician and, just one year later, moved into the role of veterinary technician. He has continued to grow and develop his skills over the years and has been an incredible part of our team ever since!

When asked what his favorite part about working at Petal Animal Clinic is, Jayce shared that he loves having the opportunity to continually learn, grow his skills, and explore new areas of veterinary medicine. We love seeing that passion for learning in our team members!

When asked about his favorite memory from the past five years, Jayce said it was assisting in his first surgery—which just happened to be with Dr. Mayfield III!

Jayce, thank you for five years of hard work, dedication, and everything you bring to our team. We are so grateful to have you as part of the Petal Animal Clinic family and look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the years ahead!

Happy 5-year anniversary, Jayce! 🐾

A LITTLE LEAP, A BIG REASON TO BE SAFE! 🐾

Sweet little Cash, a Cocker Spaniel puppy, took a leap out of his mom’s car and shortly after started limping on his front leg. While he may have been ready to get back to playing, Mom knew it was better to be safe than sorry and brought him to Petal Animal Clinic so Dr. Belcher could take a closer look! 🩺🐶

Puppies are curious, energetic, and sometimes a little too adventurous for their own good! Injuries involving the bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments can happen quickly, and even a simple-looking limp can sometimes indicate an orthopedic issue that needs attention.

When your pet is limping, favoring a leg, having trouble getting up, or just not moving like themselves, it’s always better to have them checked out. Early evaluation can help identify injuries and get your pet on the right path to recovery. ❤️

You know he’s a veterinarian… but do you know him? ⭐️

It’s another Meet the Doctor Monday, and this week we’re getting to know Dr. Hux, one of our veterinarians specializing in emergency medicine and critical care!

We asked him a few important questions… like what he’d buy first if he won the lottery, what food he could eat every day, his dream vacation, and what’s at the top of his bucket list. Of course, we also had to find out his coffee order and favorite movie or TV show!

But most importantly, we asked him: What is one thing you think all pet parents should know? Swipe through to get to know Dr. Hux a little better!

Ready to schedule an appointment with Dr. Hux? Give Petal Animal Clinic a call or text us at 601-584-8441, or book online: https://www.petalanimalclinic.com/online-appointment
