Hi! Long time no posting! It’s been a busy winter on my little farm between navigating new animals, rehabbing strays and surviving the craziest snow storm I’ve ever seen lol.
I have had many of you reach out for grooming needs and I want to inform everyone that I’ll be grooming again in the next couple weeks!
With that being said, things are going to be quite different. A couple things:
• I will be cutting back on clientele a lot. What this means is, if I haven’t seen you in the last 2 years, I am no longer accepting those clients. This gives me time to focus on regulars and loyal clients who have respected me and always shown me kindness when I have been sick and had to cancel on.
• I will not be taking dogs over 100lbs. I wish I could, I tried to squeeze a couple in after I implemented it last time, and I just can’t. I have scoliosis and degenerative disc disease already, and doing dogs that weigh that much put me out of commission for days.
•Leashes are REQUIRED, I’m sorry I know some of you have dogs that are good off leash and have good recall, but I simply can’t let it happen anymore. I have too many farm critters and I’d hate for something to happen to either your pet, or mine. If you do not have a leash, please inform me before hand as I always have some on hand.
•I will only be taking clients twice a week. Maybe once, honestly depends on life that week. lol. So that means you may have to wait a little longer for an appt, as I’ll only be doing a certain amount of dogs a week. I value my time with my personal animals and I have a lot going on. I need to put myself and my own animals first.
•I have been blessed to be able to take time off because my husband is such a hard worker, but that’s given me much more time around my house and farm to make sure everyone is taken care of to my fullest potential. I chose to get all these critters, it only makes sense I hang out with them right? 😉
•and lastly, I am going to only accept cash from now on. Please please please remember this before your appt, if you need to know my pricing it’s right at the top of my page. Or just ask! I will be glad to send a copy over to you. My square updated and now takes more from me when I use it, and I don’t feel like paying a subscription to lower it when I hardly use it.
I think that’s it, if I think of something else I will post and update you all. Until I see you again, please please please be patient with me as I get people scheduled. I have a list of people to reach out too as they’ve been so kindly and graciously waiting for my return, so I’ll get ahold of those people in the next week/two weeks. I will make a post when I think I’ve gotten to everyone letting you all know I am accepting appts again. Please know I understand if you decide to go elsewhere, this community is filled with amazing groomers, I’ll never not support that!
