Hattie here!

I have a little favor to ask on behalf of all my friends here at Elmore SPCA ❤️

We could really use some help restocking a few things that we go through every single day. You know, the boring stuff that nobody thinks about until we run out.

Right now, the humans are asking for:
* Non-clumping kitty litter
* Dryer sheets
* 13 gallon garbage bags
* 39 gallon garbage bags
* 55 gallon garbage bags
* Paper towels

These things may seem small, but they help keep our kennels and rooms clean, our blankets fresh, and all of us happy and comfortable while we wait for our next chapter.

And if you want to help but can’t make it to the shelter, that’s okay! You can shop our Amazon Wishlist and have the goodies sent right to us!

Thank you for helping take care of me and all of my shelter friends. Every bag of litter, roll of paper towel, and bottle of detergent makes a difference.

🐾ANNUAL ELMORE SPCA STREET DRIVE🐾

Friends, our Elmore SPCA animal shelter is facing some big challenges, and we can’t overcome them without you. We are asking for your generous support to one of our largest fundraisers. Our annual street drive is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 19, from 9am to 3 pm.

Every day, our shelter cares for abandoned and vulnerable animals, but our veterinary and operational costs continue to soar. On top of that, we’re working on urgently needed building renovations to create a safe, comfortable space for the animals who depend on us.

Your support can make all the difference! 🐶🐱

💛 Donate today to help us cover medical treatments and continue our renovation projects.

💛 Share this post to spread the word and inspire others to help.

Together, we can give these animals the love and care they deserve. 🐾

Can’t make it to our street drive…please use our street drive donation link:

**UPDATE **Our Clinic is Now Full** We are hoping to hold these clinics in the future, so please keep your eyes open for additional announcements!

Elmore SPCA is holding its first low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats in partnership with Dr. Anne Marie Kiley! We are excited to offer this clinic on 09/24/2026 for $75.00. This will cover the cost of the spay/neuter surgery and a rabies vaccination.

You must pre-register, and the owner is responsible for payment prior to the clinic and for transportation of their cat before and after their surgery.

We currently have spots for 3 females and 2 males. One cat per household, please. If you are interested in participating, please email [email protected].

Thank you to everyone that donated and participated in the annual Battle of Plattsburgh Fire Truck Pull. Gummi Bear loved getting his picture taken with all the teams, and a generous $270 was raised for Elmore SPCA. Also, a big Thank You to Cristi Lynn and friends for making this happen.

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to FCI Ray Brook for their incredible donation! They donated everything we could hope for including cat and dog food, toys, treats, and even cleaning supplies! We are so grateful for your hard work collecting all of this for us. We can’t thank you enough!

It’s Saturday, which means it’s Mall Day!

Coraline, Wybie and Cricket are packing their tiny bags and heading out for a day at the mall, meeting new faces and hopefully finding their forever homes. They will be at our mall location from 11 AM to 2 PM today, so come by and say hi!

We also want to let everyone know that our shelter location will be closed to walk in visitors today. We are still available for scheduled appointments, so if you’d like to visit the shelter, please give us a call to set up a time.
