We are excited to announce a new change when calling into Plontzie’s!

We have replaced our voicemail system with our new automated receptionist, Maggie. Using this new system we will be able to better and more efficiently serve you when calling in.

There may be some fine tuning needed as we utilize this new system. We welcome any feedback as we work to improve phone communication with you.

✨ Groomer Spotlight: Lin!! ✨

Celebrating 10 incredible years with us, Lin has built a loyal following of clients who wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. In fact, she holds the most regular clients here and for good reason.

Her patience with every dog, from the most anxious to the most energetic, is something special. She takes her time, builds trust, and makes sure every dog feels safe, and cared for.

Outside of the salon, her passion for animals continues through bird watching and caring for animals of all kinds, it’s not just a job for her, it’s who she is.

At just 5 years old, she’s already taken on the very important role of Friday Receptionist. Her duties include greeting every dog like they’re a best friend, offering her enthusiastic hellos to all humans, and making sure the lobby vibes stay solid

✔️ Skilled in making people smile

✔️ Unlimited energy and positivity

✨ Groomer Spotlight ✨

Today we’re shining a light on one of our amazing owners, Mary! You’ll most often find her out on the road running our mobile vans, making sure every pup gets her best care right at their doorstep.

With 23 years of grooming experience, she started her journey at just 21 years old. She built her skills and passion from the ground up. What began as a mobile grooming business eventually grew into something even bigger, leading to the opening of our shop in Perrysburg in June of 2010 alongside her husband, Jason.

Not only is she an incredible groomer, but she’s also one of our instructors, helping shape the next generation of talent through our grooming academy. Her patience, knowledge, and dedication truly set the standard for our team.

She’s especially known for her gentle touch with senior dogs, always taking extra care to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved throughout their groom.
We truly appreciate having an owner who works just as hard as the rest of us and is right there alongside the team every single day 💛

Jillian has been part of our salon since 2022 and is known for her strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and genuine love for dogs. She’s headstrong and straightforward, and she will do nothing but treat your pups like they are her own while they’re in her care.

Her love for animals continues at home too, she has two Australian Shepherd Mixes of her own! 🐾

Jillian does have appointments available, but she books quickly, so be sure to reach out soon if you’d like to get on her schedule. We’re lucky to have her on our team, and your pups are always in caring hands with her! 💕
