Sugar is finishing up her Pinnacle Pup program with us and she has come a long ways.

Creating clear boundaries for puppies like when to play and when to settle are vital for a puppies foundation, among other important skill sets . In order for them to be successful there has to be consistency and clear communication. Setting a dog’s foundation is what sets them up for future success as they mature and become immersed in their families daily lives.

Sugar has been working hard on understanding those boundaries and practicing her new found skills 🐶

Sophia, the mini Schnauzer, finished her Adventure Dog program and went back home her family.

She was such a fun and cool dog to work. At just 6 months young she was able to handle a lot of training early on and stay ahead on all of her training. She was so eager to please and picked up on everything so quickly. She’s a fun little girl! We sure are going to miss her!

She didn’t have some of your typical puppy behavior, but the program allowed her to build a foundation do her family can enjoy her even more than they already did and to be able to address new behaviors as they arise to continue to be successful!

In the video she’s demonstrating a small portion of what she learned and piecing it all together.

Ace just finished his Adventure Dog program with us!

He is a feisty little dog that believes he’s part human by walking on his hind legs and a jumping bean.
He’s now respectful and understands he has 4 legs 😂.

Ace struggled on his walks, holding commands and listening. He’s worked hard during his program and he’s able to follow commands, hold commands, enjoy a nice walk and how to be a good boy!

Freya has been one of the most fearful dogs we’ve had for a few years and she’s always on high alert and ready to flee.

She comes off very frantic, looking over her shoulder and always moving her feet. In the beginning of the video you’ll see her arrival to her second walk with me. She has now completed half of her program with us and you can clearly see her progress.

She still has a ways to go, but she’s achieved so much already and working on so much more. She’s learning how to trust and listen, follow our guidance and how to find her off switch. These are just a few of some helpful things for her new journey as we reshape her mindset.

Briggs has been practicing all of his skills he’s learned this far. Today I’m testing his ability to hold his commands while I call our helper dogs Arlo and Quill.

Even a week ago this task would be difficult for Briggs. Not only is Briggs a puppy, but he loves his playtime, especially with other dogs. Practicing his impulse control is important for many reasons like safety, following the rules and understanding clear boundaries just to name a few.

Providing clear communication and intentions are important when working on impulse control. Also, helping dogs learn to relax and find their off switch and being able to utilize that.

Good job Briggs! He’s come a long way

Ringo’s training program is wrapping up and this pup has put in so much effort and has made incredible progress. He’s such a clever boy and always eager to please!

🐾 He went from struggling on his walks and holding his commands to walking like a pro and consistently nailing his commands while working on his impulse control.
