Does anyone recognize this sweet boy? He has shown up in our Clinic parking lot yesterday afternoon and this morning. We were finally able to get our hands on him to keep him from getting hit on Jefferson St. He is very sweet, friendly but a little shy. No microchip or collar. Animal control has been contacted to pick him up but we want to get the word out in case his owner is looking for him.

****UPDATE: Owner has been located****

Does anyone recognize this sweet little girl? She was found yesterday in Steinhatchee by a Good Samaritan, laying on the Beach Rd in-between Sugerhill Rd and Roys. The Good Samaritan brought her to us to be evaluated. She appears to have some evidence of trauma but is otherwise healthy and improving. She had no collar, tag, or microchip.

We’re calling her Little Bit currently, and she is estimated to be a 1 year old terrier mix, roughly 10lbs. She appears to have been groomed fairly recently, so someone must be missing this baby! Please share this widely, especially around the Steinhatchee area so that we can reconnect her with her owner.

She is currently being cared for at Owens Animal Hospital. Anyone with any information or proof of owner can call us at 850-584-5621.

Where are our dog fosters?
She needs a soft landing spot to have her pups. She will be fully vetted and we will provide dogfood and support until an appropriate rescue or home is found.

**Update: all three kittens have found a home

We’d like to introduce you to three young ladies that are looking for their furever home! A Good Samaritan found these 3 young kittens and turned them into our office. One of our staff members has been fostering them, but can’t keep them because they have dogs that aren’t cat friendly.

All three are girls, about 7 weeks old, have been dewormed and had their first round of shots, and are FIV/Felv negative. They are all little bundles of personality and will do well in a home together or separate.

Fig (middle of first picture) is a short-haired feisty little bobtail kitty, always climbing and exploring. She loves to play with her sisters and toys. She is mostly fearless, but cautious around dogs. She’s not afraid to swat one though! She does like to snuggle on her own terms, usually when shes worn out from playing.

Lola (left in first picture) is a medium-long haired ball of sass that’s also fearless and loves to play. She is curious about everything around her, especially dogs: she has almost no fear of them. She’s will chase a laser pointer harder than any of her sisters. She loves to snuggle up after a hard day playing!

Delilah (right in first picture) is medium-long haired and more timid than her sisters. She takes a little bit more time to warm up to someone but her churu treats definitely help! She is a curious explorer and loves to play when the coast is clear. She’s not much of a cuddler right now but loves snuggling her sisters and will try to bury and tunnel under the covers with you!

Anyone interested in meeting or adopting these kitties, please call our office during regular business hours at 850–584–5621 . Adoption fees waived.
