After a long, unexpected, and stressful night, Mom and baby are finally healthy and home! ❤️
This strong girl decided she wanted her baby a WEEK early, and unfortunately, he was just a little too big to make his grand entrance naturally, so we made the decision to proceed with an emergency C-section.
Because of my job and where I work, I had the incredible opportunity to be so hands-on during his birth and first moments of life. 🥹❤️ Being the first to hold this big guy, help him take his very first breath, and get him latched made an already special moment that much more meaningful. Those agonizing minutes waiting for him to take his first breath felt like an eternity, and I’ll never forget it.
Mom was an absolute champ through it all, and this big boy is already so loved. After a night full of worry, we couldn’t be more grateful to have them both home, healthy, and safe. 🐾💕
