We’re looking to add to our barn team!

We are currently looking for a beginner riding instructor as well as someone interested in 2–3 barn shifts per week.

Beginner Instructor:
Looking for someone reliable, patient and safety-minded who enjoys teaching beginner riders, mainly children.

Barn Help:
Duties include mucking stalls, feeding, turnout/bring-in, hay, waters and general barn chores. Looking for someone dependable who takes pride in caring for the horses and keeping the barn running smoothly.

Barn shifts can be paid or potentially exchanged for reduced board for the right person.

These can be two separate positions or combined for someone interested in both.

Located in Perkiomenville

Please message me with your experience, availability and whether you’re interested in instructing, barn work, or both!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Healing comes in many forms… sometimes it looks like fresh air, quiet moments, and the gentle nuzzle of a horse reminding you that you are not alone. 🐴

Horses have a unique way of helping people feel calm, grounded, understood, and safe. Through therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted interactions, individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, and other emotional challenges can build confidence, connection, and inner strength.

Mental health matters for everyone — children, adults, caregivers, and families alike. Taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body.

At Ancora Spero, we are honored to provide a place where hope, healing, and horses come together. 💙
You are seen. You are valued. You are never alone.

Sometimes healing doesn’t need words. 💛🐴

There’s something incredibly therapeutic about the quiet connection between a horse and a human. The steady heartbeat, the warmth, the trust, the calm presence — horses have a way of helping us slow down, feel safe, and simply breathe.

For many children and adults facing anxiety, trauma, disabilities, autism, ADHD, or emotional challenges, moments like this can bring comfort, confidence, and peace in ways traditional therapy sometimes cannot.

Therapeutic horseback riding is more than riding lessons — it’s building trust, emotional connection, strength, balance, and hope. One hug around a horse’s neck can say, “You’re safe here.”

At Ancora Spero, we are grateful to witness these powerful moments every single day. Anchored in Hope.
