🔥Clinic Announcement🔥

Jeromy and I will be hosting a clinic here on October 24!

This will be a truck and trailer precheck before traveling and some tricks to successfully back your trailer into any space. Bring your own rig and let's get you ready for fall trail riding!

What you will learn:
- What fluids to check and how
- Checking your trailer lights and some tricks to
try if they aren't working
- Understanding truck and trailer tire pressures
and how to adjust in different weather
conditions
- Changing a trailer tire while keeping your
horses on board and what tools we use to
make it easy
- When and how to use a grease gun and how
to know if your bearings are good
- Tip and tricks for backing your trailer
- The must haves when traveling with horses

If we have enough interest and time allows (which it should), you can also bring your horse for a trailer loading session in the afternoon. If there's not a lot of interest in that then we may saddle up and do some riding.

Limited to 10 spots. $150 per person for truck/trailer portion in the morning (lunch included). An additional $100 for afternoon horse portion.

If all 10 spots are filled, we will have a trailer backing course at the end, and the person with the least amount of faults and best time will win a trailer kit!

$50 nonrefundable deposit to hold your spot. We are not allowing audits for this first clinic, we may consider that in the future.

On Sunday, Lori and I went on a perfect ride and sent Sunny home with her since she was done with me! Happy to have her back home, and I’m so happy she has Lori as an owner.

After that I met up with a new client! She picked up a cute halflinger cross named Bourban, and I took him home to spend the next 60-90 days getting him fine-tuned. He’s a cutie!

He was a dude horse in his previous days, and currently now getting in shape to make the perfect all around partner for my client. He’s got some work to do, but I think he’s going to make a nice riding horse.

I can’t believe miss Sunny leaves so soon!!

60 days later and she’s looking so perfect. I just love this mare. She was in for a tune up, and as an ex barrel horse I’ve got to say she is just the perfect fit for Lori Teto-Struve.

She is ready for all the trails! One of my favorites by far! And just how good looking she is makes me want to keep riding her longer! Smooth, smart, and so much fun to ride ❤️

It will be sad to see her go, but she is ready for her mom to keep riding and I will see her plenty when we meet up to get down trails!

Good morning! Axl man is back! And has been back for about 3 weeks.

Behind the scenes we’ve been conditioning, running, and fixing some small things after adding some speed.

His favorite thing to do is turn. And with that comes a LOT of convincing and discipline work to get him off of my leg so we don’t plow through barrels!

This last weekend, we ran at Crownline Arena in Perry. It was a sloppy run, but we fixed a LOT. And I had to sacrifice a little time and a little of my pretty riding to fix his game of bowling.

BUT we made Bonus Race Finals for June 2027! Woot woot! That race is a large race open to anyone, but only certain runs qualify for the Bonus Race Side pot for the big bucks. I’m happy with it!

I’m overall just so proud of this horse. He has done me so well and after coming back from a major injury (twice), I’m just so thankful. God is good. What a blessing to live this life. What a blessing it is to be doing what I’m doing, even when I’m tired.

Books Open!

I am currently taking 1 outside horse per month. As most of you know I have started to transition my program AND future back into barrel/performance horses.

With that being said, I am currently working on my personal horses and now that summer is approaching, I am opening my books for 1 horse per month.

I am located in Perkins, and provide every single thing that you all had with me before, just a different location!

This includes but not limited to:

Barrel Horses
•patterning/hauling
•tune ups/legging up
•consignment, etc.

AND of course I won’t JUST have the barrel horses. I will take your other tune ups, trail riders, young horse boot camp, and especially ranch versatility horses.

Plenty of references to choose from.

Sunny!!

Today was slow work with small adjustments and a reminder for softness and overall forward movement rather than attitude. A smooth ride is what we all want!

I acquired her this last weekend for a 30-60 day tune up. She is a gem!

I got the sweetest mare, Sunny, in on Saturday for some fine tuning!

She reminds me of a buckskin mare I had, Cookie. Even her personality!

I’m going to have such a blast with her ☺️
