🐾☕ Happy Vet Tech Week, Nichole! 🧩😸

Every team has that one person who’s been around long enough to know it all, and for us, that’s Nichole! She’s the OG of technicians here at Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 💚

When she’s not busy caring for our patients, you might find her working on a puzzle or sharing one of her famous dad jokes! 😂 She always finds a way to make us smile, and our team wouldn’t be the same without her!

Thank you, Nichole, for your years of dedication, your sense of humor, and everything you bring to our team. We’re so happy to have you as part of our PLAH family! ❤️🐾

Help us give Nichole a big THANK YOU for all she does! 👏

Has your vet mentioned a heart murmur or unusual breathing when you visit? Fall is a great time to check heart health before activity levels change.

Echocardiograms give a clear picture of heart structure and function. Early detection allows better management and improved comfort.

Our experienced team uses imaging to guide treatment plans and monitor progression.

Call 218-568-5095 or schedule online at https://pequotvet.com/appointment-request to book an echo. Early evaluation matters. ❤️🐶

Leaves on the ground. Sneezes in the house. Could your pet have fall allergies? 🍂

Autumn brings mold spores, ragweed, and dusty pollen that can make dogs and cats itchy, sneezy, or prone to ear infections. Watching for paw licking, hair loss, or restless behavior helps spot troubles early. 🐾

We take an integrative approach at Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital. That can mean antihistamines and medicated shampoos paired with acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and nutrition changes to support long term comfort. 🌿

Small home steps help too. Wipe paws after walks, wash bedding, and consider air purifiers to reduce indoor allergens. If your pet’s scratching becomes raw or they get repeat ear infections, please call. 📞

🐾💙 Our Senior Pet Wellness Special is Here! 💚🐾

Our senior pets give us so much love, companionship, and happiness. As they get older, it’s important to make sure we’re doing everything we can to help them feel their best!

🐶🐱 For just $250, our Senior Pet Package includes:
🩺 Full bloodwork to evaluate liver, kidney, thyroid, and glucose function, along with red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
💧 A urinalysis to help assess urinary and kidney health.

Our pets are experts at hiding when something doesn’t feel right. Routine wellness testing can help us catch potential concerns early and give our senior companions the best chance at a healthier, happier life. ❤️
