Cozy Canine Cottage Cozy Canine Cottage is a state-licensed, 24-hour dog-boarding facility that has been operating for 25-plus years in the community. We have 17 runs.

The 30x60 foot boarding structure is equipped with heating and air conditioning, as well as closed-circuit TV monitoring. Music is also played throughout the kennel day and night. Each run has its own doggie door for access to a private outside run. These doggie doors remain open day and night; the dogs are NEVER locked inside. 5 runs are 10x12 feet inside and 10x12 feet outside. 12 runs are 5x5 f

eet inside and 5x12 feet outside. The smaller 5x5 inside runs have the capability to open up to a 5x10 inside run for larger dogs. Dogs from the same family may be boarded together in the same run, if preferred. In addition to the individual outdoor runs, there is also a larger enclosed yard attached to the building. Each dog gets time to run and play in this large yard at least 2 to 3 times a day. We live on the property, and we are always here. There is no charge for administering medication. Anything dogs require at home will be given here at no charge. Milkbones are given 4 times a day. If you would like to bring your own treats, feel free; dogs eat their own food on their own home schedule!

***Pricing: $40 per dog, per day. Inquire within for rates for families with multiple dogs. Early pickup by 9:30 am will not be charged for the day. I will now require a 7-10 day cancellation notice, or full price of stay will be charged.

*Vaccination requirements: a vaccination record MUST accompany your dog upon arrival: DHLP (distemper), bordetella (kennel cough), & rabies. Give your dog a vacation too!! 🐕🐕‍🦺💖

Go outside with your dog!
Reminder to all friends with dogs and cats: The next 4-6 weeks is mating season for coyotes. Please do not let your dogs out alone. The outcome can be tragic as they can & will attack/kill your pets. Just be aware it can happen to your beloved pet.
Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February and early March, the gestation period averages 58 to 63 days. Male coyotes can become more aggressive during this time of year, the long and short of it all is that coyotes always pose a risk to your dog (and other small pets). That risk increases during mating season.
