Cozy Canine Cottage Cozy Canine Cottage is a state-licensed, 24-hour dog-boarding facility that has been operating for 25-plus years in the community. We have 17 runs.

The 30x60 foot boarding structure is equipped with heating and air conditioning, as well as closed-circuit TV monitoring. Music is also played throughout the kennel day and night. Each run has its own doggie door for access to a private outside run. These doggie doors remain open day and night; the dogs are NEVER locked inside. 5 runs are 10x12 feet inside and 10x12 feet outside. 12 runs are 5x5 feet inside and 5x12 feet outside. The smaller 5x5 inside runs have the capability to open up to a 5x10 inside run for larger dogs. Dogs from the same family may be boarded together in the same run, if preferred. In addition to the individual outdoor runs, there is also a larger enclosed yard attached to the building. Each dog gets time to run and play in this large yard at least 2 to 3 times a day. We live on the property, and we are always here. There is no charge for administering medication. Anything dogs require at home will be given here at no charge. Milkbones are given 4 times a day. If you would like to bring your own treats, feel free; dogs eat their own food on their own home schedule!

***Pricing: $40 per dog, per day. Inquire within for rates for families with multiple dogs. Early pickup by 9:30 am will not be charged for the day. I will now require a 7-10 day cancellation notice, or full price of stay will be charged.

*Vaccination requirements: a vaccination record MUST accompany your dog upon arrival: DHLP (distemper), bordetella (kennel cough), & rabies. Give your dog a vacation too!! 🐕🐕‍🦺💖

We have two bonded pairs that have just been added to the website. The first pair are these handsome senior boys: Oscar and Ricardo. They are both 14 years old and would love a family that is home more often than not to live out their golden years.

You can read their requirements and fill out an application at www.mwdr.org. If you’ve already filled out an application email the rep on their bio.

I feel I should give some background on Cozy Canine Cottage. We have been in business for 30 years. Our kennel is air conditioned and heated. It is 50 feet out our door. We reside on our 11 acre property. We start our day at 7:00 am. with letting dogs into the yard separately. Each dog will get a turn twice a day for at least an hour or two. Some dogs need to get out more, some less. All pups receive individual attention throughout the day. They each are fed their own food on the schedule they have at home. Healthy treats are given 3-4 times a day. Or special treats can be brought from home. There are 5- 10x12 runs and 12- 5x5 runs (which have the availability to be opened up into a 5x10.) Each run has its own doggie door which are open 24 hours a day. They can be closed off at night if needed. They love having access to go outside whenever they want to. All outside runs have motion detection lights. LED lights throughout the kennel inside. A radio plays at all times. Cameras on all sides of the property let us see all all angles of the kennel. The building is 30x60 stick built building. We take care of all breeds and temperaments. We have never turned away a dog. We have taken care of many dogs over the years and they ALWAYS leave happy. We have SIMPLI SAFE smoke detectors that have a direct line to a dispatch center. We are state licensed and insured. Inspected at least once a year. We work very hard to keep all our clients and fur babies happy. I will work with any clients to accommodate their schedule. I am here to answer any questions or concerns 12 hours a day, seven days a week. I send pictures and updates to everyone daily. This is a seven day a week 12 hours a day business. We love every minute of it and are very grateful to all the families that gave allowed us to take care of their precious pups

Busy week for all! We love you all!
