Our IEA Team registration is open!

Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is open to riders grades 4-12 & adults 21 and over. It is a national organization that promotes lifelong involvement in equestrian athletics.

IEA provides young riders with showing experience and learning opportunities beyond just lessons. It also has over $1.5 million in scholarships for riders looking to continue on to the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).

But the best part of IEA are the forever friendships and memories they will make with their teammates!

Riders do not need to currently be lessoning at DEC to join our team. IEA competes in flat and over fences, so if your rider is not jumping or doesn’t want to jump they can still join the fun!

Please reach out to Laura if you would like more information or have questions.

Wrapping up three weeks at Equifest at HITS Chicago. Our riders learn so much more than just their course on a walk. Making these priceless teachable moments!! Shannon Sullivan, Laura Berck & Mike Rippe

We still have a few spots in all our Camps! Beginner camp is for riders wanting to learn the basics of riding, campers don’t currently have to be in lessons. IEA camp is open to any rider of any ability level on an IEA team or thinking about it. Jumpers camp is open to any rider jumping in lessons. Horsemanship camp is for any experienced rider looking to gain more of an understanding of a horse beyond riding.

Camp is a great way to learn new things beyond the lesson and make new friends!
