Great news for cat families in our area — Prairie Animal Hospital treats FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). FIP used to be a heartbreaking diagnosis, but treatment has come a long way and we are so excited to be part of these success stories.

One thing we hear a lot: “Is it contagious? Is my other cat at risk?” The short answer is no. FIP itself is not contagious between cats. Your other fur babies are safe.

Spaying is very important. This baby was drinking a lot, vomiting and had a ruptured uterine infection. However she is a fighter and made it!!!! Another dog with the same thing ended up not making it. Wish Genova all the care and healing prayers.
