I swear he got the toy after this 😂

Dash is with me for a couple of weeks to help with some dog reactivity. He has seen multiple trainers in the past who have actually done a really nice job with him, but fell short when it came to including mom in the process. I see it all the time, people send their dogs off to training but never have any one on one handling sessions to learn all of the new buttons their dog just received! And it’s not the owners fault (y’all don’t know any better and are trusting the pros through this). Training is only one piece of the process, follow through determines the amount of success each client will experience which heavily depends on whether or not the client is taught how to properly manage their dog once they return home.

Most of the time when I get a re-train, the dog is a mess. This is not the case with Dash. The only reason he is in boarding is due to his mom’s incredibly important job that makes consistency in the beginning stages a little more difficult. Which is one of the many reasons I offer board and trains in the first place.
