These are the faces behind so many happy pets, wagging tails, and very full camera rolls 🩷🐾

One of my favorite parts of owning Paws at Home is getting to work with this group of people.

We all have different personalities, strengths, and ways of doing things, but we have one pretty important thing in common: we really, REALLY love animals! 😂💕

I love hearing their stories from visits, seeing the relationships they build with our clients’ pets, and watching them get just as excited about the little things as I do. It’s pretty special to have a team that understands why those moments mean so much.

There’s a lot that goes into keeping Paws at Home running, and I couldn’t do it without these people.

I’m so thankful for the care they put into their visits, the laughs they bring to our days, and the part each of them plays in this little business of mine.

Pretty lucky to call them my team 🥹🩷

A fresh water bowl, remembering their favorite toy, a few extra snuggles, and making sure you know how their visit went.

They’re simple things, but they’re also some of our favorite parts of spending time with your pets!

Every pet has their own little quirks, routines, and preferences, and we love getting to know them all 🐶💕

When I first started Paws at Home, it was just me! 🩷

I loved animals, loved caring for them, and knew this was something I wanted to turn into a career.

But as the business grew, so did my understanding of just how much responsibility comes with caring for someone’s pets and home.

It’s about so much more than showing up, filling a food bowl, or taking a dog for a walk.

It’s about having insurance in place. Knowing how to handle an emergency. Having reliable backup care. And making sure the people entering your home are trained, background checked, and prepared.

These are all things I’ve worked hard to build into Paws at Home over the years.

Not because we’re required to do every single one of them, but because I believe they’re important.

There are some wonderful people working in pet care, whether they’re on their own or part of a team. My hope is simply that more pet parents understand what to look for when choosing someone to care for their pets.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about loving animals. It’s about the responsibility that comes with caring for them 🩷🐾

We trust pet care providers with some pretty important things: our pets and our homes! 🏡

But here’s something many pet parents don’t think to ask: Is your pet care provider insured and bonded?

Having the right coverage is an important part of professional pet care. It adds another layer of protection and shows that your provider takes their responsibility seriously.

A midday walk gives your dog time to move, sniff, explore, and get some energy out.

Then it’s back home for a nice long snooze while they wait for you 🐾

Cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines before they leave The ARK.

The ARK does vet checks. To speed up the adoption process during open viewing hours, we encourage adopters to bring along copies of their vet records, which would include proof of spay-neuters, up-to-date on vaccines, and proof of heartworm testing and prevention for dogs.

*We are a volunteer-based rescue. We do not have the resources to view and respond to all questions pertaining to specific animals on Facebook. Please call during adoption hours if you have specific questions about specific animals.
