In our previous post we were looking for a short, one-week foster for Mia. What we forgot to mention is that this beautiful girl is also available for adoption. Mia is a dedicated sweetheart and would absolutely love to have a family to call her own. One of the highlights of her day is an early morning pack walk with the other dogs. After a little walk, Mia is happy to be your loyal sidekick and hang out with you for the rest of the day. Do you have a lonely little that could use a buddy? Mia adores little dogs and would make a great companion for them!

Little Beth is ADOPTED!!! This sweet girl has a new home, a new sister, and a new name; Beth is now Betsy! We love seeing these e-listed dogs (whom everyone else had given up on) go on to find loving homes with their forever people. Congrats Betsy! You deserve all the best!!

🚨 URGENT - FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR PREGNANT PUP 🚨
This young, beautiful girl is pregnant and due to give birth any day now. “Juno” is super sweet, allows all handling, good with young kids, and good with other dogs. Finder took to vet - they didn’t find a microchip, but an ultrasound showed 5 puppies. Please reach out if you can help or SHARE to help find this adorable girl a foster home ASAP!!

ADOPTED!! 530 days. That’s how long it took for Frisco to find his loving, forever home. His new family is aware of his little quirks and allergy issues, and they couldn’t love him more. In fact, Frisco has stolen their hearts with his sweet charms, and is getting utterly spoiled in return. Frisco has always been very loving and his desire to connect with someone has (at last!) been fulfilled. We are so happy he has finally found his people 🩵

How cute are Mia and Frisco? These two foster pups really enjoy their early morning walks together 🩵 They especially love doing “yip yip” work on the rocks 🐶🪨

Frisco saw the vet yesterday for an infected dew claw. We’re not sure exactly what happened, but our best guess is that he caused trauma to the nail bed from chewing on his paws/nails. Frisco’s treatment will be a course of antibiotics as well as daily paw soaks with Epsom salt. Half of the quick of his nail has gone pale and looks terrible (2nd photo). Has anyone ever experienced something like this with their dog?

🎉 ADOPTED 🎉 We’re so happy about this one! You may recall sweet Poppy who endured years of pain and neglect and was left to suffer with a mouth of massively infected teeth. Poppy was then taken to the vet - not to be cared for - but to be euthanized. Thank goodness we were able to step in and save her! This sweet baby will never suffer from such cruelties ever again.

Now pain-free, happy and healed, Poppy has found the most wonderful home where she is adored and cared for completely. We love that her new owner works from home and has 2 social kitties. We’re thrilled that Poppy will always have a friend to keep her company 💞

Thank you to Phoenix Animal Care Coalition (PACC911) for extending Poppy a medical grant, as well as to everyone who lovingly donated to help with her care. It’s because of this community’s support that we are able to save dogs like Poppy from their suffering, misery, or even death!
