Arlo is patiently waiting for his mom to show off his new leash-walking skills at Bayview Park. 💙💙💙

Went to Home Depot this morning as well to follow up with Mr. Dash, which went awesome.

After that, we went to see Miss Maisy over in Gulf Breeze to do some training with everyone there. 🐾🥰🐶

Happy Thursday everyone, we’ll try to post more in the future 🐾🐾🐾🐾

🎉🐾✨ GRADUATION DAY ALERT! ✨🐾🎉

Meet Dash the miniature Goldendoodle… official graduate of our “Sit, Stay & Play” Puppy Board & Train program! 🎓🐕💛

This little guy is now:🦮 Walking like a total champ on leash🌟 Behaving in public like he’s been doing it his whole life🛏️ Rocking his Place & Kennel commands📣 Showing off a rock-solid off-leash recall

So proud of this fluffy superstar! 😍🙌

Want your puppy to graduate with the same confidence and manners?
Let’s get them started! 💪🐶

Husky process 🐾Athena🐾 is making progress.
She is a true husky female and basically in charge of the whole world 🤣😬😜 - now we’re teaching her how nice it can be to obey some rules and show off some manners. 🙌🙌🙌

She still needs to get some repetition in but she’s already doing a lot better.

So excited for her journey 🐶💪🐾💕

German Shepherd 🐾CHARLIE🐾 is currently spending the weekend with his owner - that’s the beauty of our Hybrid Board & Train programs. 🐶💙🙌☺️

He’s been a very good boiiii and we can’t wait to get him back on Monday 🥰🥰🥰

10/15/2026

🙌🙌We’re slammed busy. 🙌🙌

So here is a little photo drop of all the pupper 🥰🥰🥰

10/11/2026

Since we still don’t have power, we decided to go to Graffiti Pizza for lunch with little Mr. Dash. 🐶🤩☺️

Just a quick glimpse of how his training is going👇👇👇

10/10/2026

We had a rough evening & night but no major damages.

Thank you all for all the messages and phone calls. 💕💕

All dogs and humans are okay 🐶🙌
Everyone was safe in the house, kennels were empty and we prepped everything to where not too much was flying around.

Power lines are down, no way to get into our neighborhood and workers are out to get everything back to normal. 🙏🙏🙏

Now it’s cleanup time here - I might take me longer to get back to any messages, calls or emails. 🙈

⚠️K9-Kent Hurricane Prep Update 🐕💨

With Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaias tracking straight toward us and K9-Kent sitting right in the center of the projected path, we’re fully prepared and locked in.✅

📋 Our dog-owner hurricane checklist:
• 7–14 days of food + water (and extra bowls)
• Meds, first-aid kit, and copies of vaccine/medical records in a waterproof bag
• Leashes, harnesses, collars with up-to-date ID tags + microchip info
• Crate or carrier ready to go (practice loading now)
• Comfort items: favorite toy, blanket, or shirt that smells like home
• Clear evacuation plan ready to activate at a moment’s notice
• Two generators on standby so fans, lights, and fridge stay running
• Plenty of food, water, and medical supplies stocked for both the humans and the dogs

Every dog currently in K9-Kent’s care is safe, closely monitored, and will be evacuated immediately if conditions require it.✅🚙

If any pet owner needs help, please reach out. 🚨We’re here for you and your dogs.🙏

Stay safe, keep your pups close, and check on the animals around you. 🙌

We’ve got this. ❤️

🐾✨ Welcome to K9-Kent Doggy Daycare! ✨🐾

Where tails wag, friendships form, and every pup gets the playtime they deserve! 🐶💛
Ever wonder how we keep things safe, fun, and super enriching all day long? Let’s break down how our playgroups work! 🧠🐕

How We Create the Perfect Playgroups 🎯
At K9-Kent, we don’t just throw all the dogs into one big free-for-all. Safety and happiness come first!
We carefully separate our playgroups by:
• Temperament (energy level, play style, and personality)
• Size (so everyone can romp comfortably)
This means your pup gets matched with friends who play the way they like to play — whether that’s zoomies, gentle wrestles, or chill sniffing sessions. 🏃‍♂️💨💕

But Wait… There Are Always Exceptions! 🌟
Some of our smaller dogs have big personalities (and even bigger friends)!
Meet Fifi and Hemi — two of our favorite little legends. 🐕💕 These pint-sized pals have totally earned their spots with the bigger dogs. They fit right in, hold their own, and have the best time zooming around with their large-breed buddies. Proof that size isn’t everything when the vibes are right! 😎🐾

Why Playgroups Matter 🧩
Structured playgroups help dogs:
• Build confidence and social skills
• Burn off energy in a positive way
• Stay mentally stimulated through games, interactions, and enrichment
• Learn good manners around other dogs

The result? A tired, happy, well-socialized pup who comes home ready to snuggle and relax. 😴💤
Because at the end of the day…
A tired and enriched dog is a happy dog. 🥰🐕💛
