Grooming tables are a very versatile piece of equipment. Not only do we use them to groom our dogs, we use them to cut our bandanas , take the perfect picture after the perfect groom, as our lunch table and desk and so much more.

Heck as I write this if my facility manager was checking cameras she's probably wondering what in the world I'm doing as I'm laying on my back on my table right now with a tennis ball under my shoulder stretching out my back and shoulders. So I guess now tables are also physical therapy tools too.

Are you the type to use the shame shears every groom no matter the dog or do you switch out your shears depending on what is on your table?

I usually switch out depending on what I have on my table. Today for this shihpoo I'm using OG Splash Asian fusion style, a never released style of straights called Pixie, Huasis curved thinners and the mini face set. How about you?

Some days aren’t dramatic.
They’re just steady.

You show up.
You prep the dog.
You work through the coat.
You stay patient when it would be easier not to.

No big breakthrough.
No big applause.

Just quiet progress.

And sometimes that’s the win.

Consistency doesn’t feel exciting.
But it builds a kind of strength nothing else does.
