Welcome to the flock, Rico!

This sweet boy has officially decided he’s staying, and I think he will be right at home! He’s settling right in, showing off those colors and that big personality like he owns the place. As is typical, he has a lot to say in a very "Nanday" voice! If you know, you know!!

Welcome home, Rico.

This baby Jenday is having a whole conversation with me . All fluffed up, head bobbing, acting like he's explaining taxes or something. He's totally serious and absolutely nothing makes sense 😆

Thinking about bringing a cockatiel home?
PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO FIRST. 😂🦜

They may look innocent.
They may look sweet.
They may even look like little fluffy angels…

DON’T BE FOOLED. 😂

This is how it starts:

“Aw, what a cute little bird!” 🥰

And before you know it…

➡️ Your personal space? GONE.
➡️ Your arm? PROPERTY OF THE BIRD.
➡️ Your house? NOW THEIR HOUSE.
➡️ Your dignity? HA! GOOD LUCK. 🤣

And the worst part?

YOU WILL LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT. ❤️🦜

Consider yourself warned.
BUYER BEWARE: Cockatiels come with feathers, attitude, and absolutely ZERO respect for boundaries. 😂

Our flock is glowing brighter than ever — and yes, they absolutely know they’re gorgeous. From cheeky conures to elegant ringnecks, every feather here was raised with love, laughter, and a dash of chaos.

Whether you’re dreaming of a snuggly shoulder buddy or a chatty little comedian, Step Up Parrots has the perfect match waiting to steal your heart (and probably your snacks).

Look at this 5 day old little Jenday. We hatched him/her in our nursery and we've been handfeeding since day one. It's amazing how such a small creature can be such a big part of your heart! ❤️

Our Step Up Parrots family is huge, loud, silly, and full of love. Roll call time. Show us your babies, brag a little, make us smile. And if you’re just here for the bird content… welcome!.

From her dramatic “feed me” moment to bullying her toy balls and ending with that sweet little stare — she’s growing up so fast. She’s getting more independent every day, and you can feel she’s really, ready for her person to show up and give her the little life she’s meant to have.
