We love our dogs and they’re treated like family! Their health and wellbeing is our top priority. In 1985, Mark and Linda Lipa got their first Black Lab (Susie), after doing research into different dog breeds to find a breed that suited their lifestyle. At the time Mark and Linda were busy in the Quarter Horse world training and showing horses. They wanted a calm, friendly dog that could go to sho
ws, lay around the barn, and be with them everywhere. Susie was that dog! Soon after came Sandy (another black lab) who was the foundation of the Lipa’s breeding program and thus “M & L Labrador Retrievers” was born. In 1987 a 2 legged family member was added to the pack- Shannon. The dogs quickly became her brothers and sisters and she has spent her life training, raising, and socializing all of the puppies! Over the past 35 plus years, we have seen the birth of many bundles of joy, we’ve shed some tears and lost some of those closest to us, but we wouldn’t change a thing. M & L Labrador Retrievers (aka Lipa’s Labradors) prides itself on the quality and temperament within their dogs. The majority of our puppies are sold as family pets or as the “family gun dog” (the dog that will go hunting with you on Saturday and lay on the couch and watch football with you on Sunday). We have also had many dogs go into the service and therapy industry over the years. All of our puppies have their first series of shots and dewormings and they are vet checked prior to going to their new homes. Puppies come with a Full AKC Registration and written health guarantee. Our puppies are raised in our home with lots of socialization by Shannon and other family members and friends. Our dogs all live in our house and have 20 acres to run on with 2 ponds.
