Friends of Western Gateway Dog Park The Penn Valley Dog Park is a perfect place to bring your four-legged friend to play and exercise! We look forward to seeing you!

If you live in Nevada County (California), then you probably know that we are the favorite off-leash dog park for you and your pets. Although we are located on Western Gateway Park property, we operate as a separate non-profit corporation. We receive no funding from the county or the main park, so your annual memberships and donations are always appreciated. Our secluded and well-maintained, two-a

cre dog park is fully fenced with water, shade and seating in all four exercise and training yards. It provides you and your dogs a safe and inviting place where well-behaved dogs can play. (The oak grove with its tires and trees is especially great for dogs who like to run and sniff.) All areas of the dog park are ADA compliant and easily accessible. There is also an on-site restroom facility and plenty of parking. The dog park was substantially improved and expanded in 2015 so whether your dog is big or small, come visit us.
