Bless you, Opal.

Our last litter for the next 6ish weeks was born yesterday. In the afternoon. On a Sunday. When I didn’t have much on my schedule. What a treasure because it’s usually the middle of the night or during a pre-planned activity. Appreciate it, Opal girl!

Also, what a smooth, easy, and quick delivery! Opal only had 6 puppies this litter, but it was a textbook delivery, and for that I am also thankful. Since it wasn’t her first rodeo, this girl was a seasoned professional, and I honestly think Opal could have a litter successfully without my assistance. She’s a true gem of a dog, and fun fact: She and June (Mom of the Summer Litter born 5 days ago) are sisters! They’re not from the same litter, but they share the same Mom, Georgia, who is one of our Golden Retrievers. All 3 of these ladies are the absolute best dogs! They pass those traits right on to their puppies too!

These puppies will be ready to go home around August 13-15. They’re considered small standards (June’s are mediums) and will be about 45-50 pounds full grown. Both litters are F1Bs. Litter theme is still undecided, but I’m leaning pretty heavily towards a fun one! Get ready!

Whew.

I finally crawled in bed right before 3:00 am. Thankfully I was not super sleepy because Coca-Cola and adrenaline make a powerful concoction. 😜

June had her first puppies starting at 8:00 pm. If you’ve been to our house, chances are you’ve met June. The best way to describe June is that she’s our mascot. She can squeeze her tiny frame in between the slats in our fence (a problem I never even considered when installing the fence) so she comes and goes as she pleases. The most wonderful thing about June is that she does not leave our yard. Ever. She is faithfully lounging on the back porch or stretched out in the grass or in either of our two dog fences, but she is always nearby. She’s absolutely the best, most faithful dog, and I appreciate her loyalty and laid back spirit. She’s an easy dog to have, and she gets lots of extra pats on the head from visitors.

June has never had a litter, but she has been up close and personal with all of our puppies because of her ability to free roam our yard (there’s a few of our dogs that don’t get that freedom often due to their “squirrel!” mentality—if the spot something interesting, off they go!). June has been a sweet companion for the babies and always loves to check them out and play with them when they’re older.

It is always a delight to see one of our dogs have their own puppies when they’ve mothered others before having a litter, and June has just been waiting her turn. She, of course, took to it naturally and popped out 9 healthy puppies until the wee hours of the morning. To say I was shocked would be an understatement because this girl is teeny tiny! She ate a good breakfast this morning, and all the babies are nursing happily. 5 boys & 4 girls ready to go home August 12-15. Most of these babies will only be about 35-40 pounds full grown. Send me a PM to find out more info!

Available Puppies!

These little pups will be ready go home in one month! I can hardly believe it! They grow and change so quickly, and this 4 week old phase is probably my favorite of all.

Why you ask? (Well you didn’t, but I’ll tell you anyway!)

Their eyes and ears are open, but they aren’t timid anymore because they’ve become accustomed to new sights and sounds. They have discovered that people are safe, and that people come with attention and affection. They love to crawl in our laps and wiggle around, but they still can’t get very far on their own. They stay in about a 10 foot radius from where they are placed outside. Lots of the work is still being done by the Mamas, but the Moms can also get a break for a few hours without either of us fretting about their well-being. It’s just the perfect in-between phase between newborn and potty training 6-8 week olds. Plus, they are just so darn cute!!!

All of these puppies are available to the perfect forever family that will love and care for them! Send me a PM to ask about them, and I am happy to share information on pricing and my program.

As always, check my stories daily for updates & videos too!

What a gorgeous morning to take some puppy pictures! The sun was out, the breeze was blowing, my kids are all at VBS (3 volunteering and 1 attending), and I was able to sit in the quiet while trimming puppy nails and snapping photos. It was a peaceful morning although I obviously enjoy the chaos of my regular life with kids and dogs running around.

I’m happy to report that everyone is doing well! We have 10 puppies available pictured here that will be ready in July, we have two more girls due in June, and I just had two go into heat. Summer “break” hits a little different around here, but we are always happy to have puppies! The Lord has blessed me immensely, and I hope I never take that for granted. My best friend of many years texted me this week asking about life, and I replied, “I’m happy with my little life.” It’s not flashy or fancy, but it is oh so sweet, and puppies are a HUGE part of that!

Send me a PM to ask about these pups—maybe your summer “break” needs some extra excitement to it too!

Pupdate ✨

📺 TV Litter (F1B Goldendoodles)— All of these puppies have their eyes at least slightly open! They are just darling at this age!! This morning I saw one of them sitting in an upright position instead of laying down, and oh my, it is soooo cute! They’re a little timid at this stage because the world has really come alive with sight and sound. We’re lovingly cuddling them close to our chests when Dottie isn’t feeding them because it makes them feel safe and secure. By next week, they’ll be up and moving!

🧂Spice Litter (F1 Goldendoodles)— These 5 are a big bunch of potatoes, and boy are they chunky!! Born 3 days behind the TV Litter, they’ve already outgrown them because their Mama is our biggest girl. They haven’t quite opened their eyes just yet, but we can still start to see the personalities emerging!

Both Moms are doing fantastic, and we cannot wait to watch these pups grow!! Send me a PM to inquire about them, our program, and our pricing!

What a whirlwind of a few days we’ve had! All of Kit’s puppies have gone to their families except one (who will go home soon). It’s just in time for the arrival of Dottie and Maggie’s puppies!

First up is the TV Litter from Dottie & Cruz! All of these F1B Goldendoodles are named after dogs from famous movies or TV shows. I grew up watching a majority of these movies on VHS so it has been very nostalgic to go through this list of names. Surprise, surprise, dog movies were always my favorite! The TV Litter is now 4 days old, and they are thriving with Mama Dottie!

Next up is the Spice Litter from Maggie & Cruz! Maggie’s formal name is “Magnolia”, and yes, we call her that all the time…usually in a deep Southern voice. 🤣 Maggie’s always had more nature-y litters from her flower name, and I’ve had this theme on my list for a long time. The number of boys and girls definitely changes what I can use! These F1 Goldendoodles are a whopping 24 hours old, and they’re also going to be whopper-sized pups. Maggie is our biggest dog and is built wider and thicker than our other dogs. Her puppies are always like a round little roly poly and have such gentle demeanors.

Send me a PM to ask any puppy questions or to make one of these boys or girls yours!

Welcome to the world little ones!

Dottie had a litter of TWELVE yesterday! Whew! We knew she was big, especially after she got the Mom hair cut when I shaved her down, but that doesn’t always translate into big litters. She did a phenomenal job popping out puppies one-by-one and rested all night, which was well earned!

Want to know the wildest part?! We have NINE boys! I don’t think we’ve ever had that big of a difference with boys coming out ahead. I’ve been waffling back and forth with a litter theme, and I think I’ve found just the right one—Famous Dogs. Think TV dogs like Benji & Lassie with a few more current cartoons like Clifford! 😍

I try to keep themes loosely related to the Mom’s name because it keeps everyone filed in order in my brain. How do Famous Dogs relate to Dottie? Wellllll it’s a stretch, but stick with me. Dottie can be shortened to “Dot”, and the TV screen is made up of little dots, right?! It did look more dot-like when I was watching a box TV at 8 years old. 😆 Whatever, I like the theme, and there’s tons of boy names, which is needed.

Anyways, this litter will be ready to go July 8-11 so you can get a summer vacation out of the way and still spend summertime with a new pup! Individual pictures coming soon!
