A little about US.
The sole purpose of the daycare/boarding/grooming is to help provide the rescue with a place to live. We have over 20 plus rescue dogs living at our facility. Every morning the BFDD team lets them out, feeds them and they care for the more challenging dogs not yet suitable for volunteers to handle. Our incredible BFAR volunteers handle the rest of the day.

The daycare is to pay well trained and knowledgeable staff to take care of dogs. Yours and the rescues. The easy ones, the hard ones. Everything in between. The balance of that goes to the building and maintenance.

This brings me to hiring. I have interviewed so many people currently in the industry over the past few weeks as my team heads back to school. I have been blown away by how many people that currently work at other daycares that do not have knowledge of safety on the daycare floor or how to properly handle certain situations. We train. We teach. Safety is for both human and dog.

Over the past 2 years, I have heard some very interesting things about other facilities and understand why daycares have bad reputations. Not a single facility but as a whole. This is why I do not recommend another daycare or boarding facility unless I personally know them.

Know your daycare. Know the staff. Look at cameras if they have them. Transparency in this industry is key. I live by it and my team is instructed to do so as well.

Buddy is the CEO to our daycare and rescue. He’s an older gentleman who needs a little extra TLC due to his hips and he struggles standing for long periods. Jim is so patient and careful with him. ♥️

VID kids!
So many people ask what our VID program is.
Our VID program is for any dog that is not suitable for the daycare floor or dogs/puppies still learning appropriate social behavior. The program was created after the Directors own dog, who once did attend a local daycare at the age of 9 months but something happened and she just was not the same. No explanation, just a “your dog isn’t good for daycare anymore”. She is now 8.

Our director is big on advocating for dogs and having transparency with pet parents. Having cameras in our facility gives pet parents a little extra piece of mind while they watch their dog throughout the day.

There are plenty of dogs just not ready for daycare or dogs that require much smaller play groups. We wanted those dogs to have an outlet too.

For some dogs, it’s a steppingstone to learn appropriate social skills to enter the daycare floor. Each dog has individual needs, and the program is tailored to that specific dog. It is not a one size fits all.

* 📅 1x per week for 6 weeks
* 🕒 Tuesdays @ 6:30 pm

* 🐶 Puppies 12–22 weeks

This program is a stepping stone to any of the programs we have for 6 months and older. Starting early can be a major help not just in performance of behavior but for the parents to truly get a better understanding of why their puppies do what they do. Training isnt a lesson you give to your pup, training is teaching it a way of life. Please reach out to me for a break down about dates, pricing, needs, and expectations.
