COUNTERINTUITIVE means going against your gut feeling or common sense. It describes something that feels wrong or surprising, but is often true and works.

We know people always have the best intentions of helping, but when we say do not call or chase, there are good reasons.

A lost dog does not have the ability to make smart decisions when they are in flight mode and will make bad decisions when they see things that are perceived as a threat...They will run into oncoming traffic, will jump into water, jump off cliffs, the list is endless.

PLEASE, when we say do not chase or pursue, heed these words!

URGENT!! The shelter is currently caring for 11 rabbits and 18 guinea pigs and we are just about out of hay!!
We are in desperate need of timothy hay!
