URGENT ADOPTATHON: this weekend only!

The MSPCA-Angell is holding an emergency fee-waived adoption event for all dogs 6 months and older at all four shelters, and we need your help NOW.

Our kennels are at capacity heading into what’s historically our busiest intake season. Dog adoptions are down 23% from last year, and with Memorial Day stray surges right around the corner, we need to act fast.

Adoption fees WAIVED for all dogs 6 months+. May 29–31 (Fri–Sun) 

If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, this is your sign!! These pups need homes so we can keep saying yes to every animal who needs us this summer.

RIchie is a short haired adult male. Richie’s story is one we hear far too often — this adorable kitten-looking 2-year-old was found trying to survive outside on his own. But despite his tough start, Richie has kept his sweet and gentle heart.

At first, Richie can be a little quiet, taking in the world around him with those curious eyes. But once he knows you’re a friend, he absolutely loves attention and is more than happy to soak up pets and affection.

With his tiny face, youthful looks, and lovable personality, Richie is basically a forever kitten who’s ready to trade street life for cozy naps, snacks, and a family to call his own.

UPDATE: Great News!! Curly is back home! His owners left food for him in his dog run, left the gate open, he went in and the owners were able to close the door. Great job!

ADOPTED Benny (4 year old) is a laid back, non-stop purring cool dude looking for his forever home (and his cat bed). He is also a master baker-he loves making biscuits! Benny is estimated to be about four years old, and was trapped wandering the streets. He is so loving that the volunteers are grateful Benny doesn’t realize that BB pellet in his flank was put there by humans.
