#29 of 50 Ways to Support Furever Sunny: Pennies for Paws (& Hooves)!

While pennies may be getting harder to spend, we know a place where every cent can make a difference!

Gather your spare change, start a jar at home or work, and watch those pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters add up to something wonderful for our residents.

Every little bit helps provide food, supplies, and care for the animals who call Furever Sunny home. Because around here, every cent counts!

ANOTHER MONTH. ANOTHER MIRACLE.

I wish I could tell you that fundraising has been going well this year, but the truth is… it's been HARD. 😔

We've had to cancel event after event because of weather, and now tomorrow's goat yoga is being canceled because of a hurricane. 🌪️ Every canceled event means lost fundraising opportunities, lost income for the animals, and another month of wondering how we're going to make it all work.

Time and time again, I've found myself asking, Is this it? Are we really going to have to shut down? Close our doors? Start reducing the number of animals we care for because we simply can't afford to keep going?

These aren't thoughts I ever wanted to have when I started Furever Sunny Animal Sanctuary. 💔 But when you're responsible for nearly 100 animals who depend on you for their food, hay, bedding, medications, and daily care, the bills don't stop just because the donations do.

And then… somehow… a miracle happens. ✨

Today's miracle came in the form of a $1,000 check. 🥹❤️

Someone chose to remain anonymous, but we are going to thank you anyway because you deserve to know just how much this means to us.

THANK YOU, ANONYMOUS FRIEND! 🫶

You are keeping this sanctuary afloat for another month. You are giving us another chance to keep going. You are helping ensure that the animals who depend on us still have a safe place to call home.

You may have written a check, but what you really gave us was HOPE. Hope to keep fighting, keep caring, and keep believing that we can find a way forward.

And to everyone who has ever donated, shared a post, attended an event, bought merchandise, volunteered, or simply told someone about our sanctuary: THANK YOU. Every single act of support matters more than you know. ❤️

But the reality is that we can't rely on a miracle every month. We need our community to help us keep these doors open. If you've been waiting for a way to help, NOW is the time. 🐷🐴🐐🐑🐔

#27 in our 50 Ways to 50K Challenge — Bring a friend to Family Day!

Sometimes supporting Furever Sunny is as simple as inviting someone along. Bring a friend, family member, neighbor, or coworker to spend the day with the animals, enjoy some yard games, and experience what makes Furever Sunny so special.

The more people who know about Furever Sunny, the more people who can become part of our community and help us continue caring for the animals.

Join us this Sunday, October 11 from 10am to 12noon at Furever Sunny in Pemberville. Family Day is free, so grab someone you know and come join us!
