I thought I would update everyone on how daddy Dusty and mama Bindi are doing!
Dusty will be a big 5 year old in June. He was neutered last summer and weighs 11 pounds after packing some pounds on 🤣 He is still the goofiest little lover boy and just loves each one of us in his "I'm the man" but big baby way ❤️
Bindi turned 4 in April and on the 11th we had her spayed! She weighed 12lbs. Certain she will pack some weight on since all dogs do after getting fixed. She is still a sassy lil lady. Only likes us and hates stranger danger as I call it. Going to the vet got her now labeled "will bite, needs muzzle" 😬 I work at their veterinary office and even mom made her mad when it was time to subdue her. HOWEVER at home she is the best cuddle bug to her humans and sometimes forgets what personal space means 🤣
They always say you get a 50/50 chance of having the nice or crazy chihuahua, well we got 1 of each!!
With both mama and daddy now on retirement, Our M & D's Lida Chi's will no longer be having pups available. While I am sad there will be no more lil monsters running around, I am happy that the 3 litters we had have brought so much joy to families! Since there will be no more babies from Dusty and Bindi, let's flood this post with pictures of their babies from the past!! We would love to see how everyone is doing. I would also love this to be a place that all owners can connect with each other and help with any questions with training, set up play dates, you name it!
Introduce yourself and your pup/pups. If you have other pets that aren't from us post them too.
I feel like my house is pretty empty without the little pups running around but mom and dad are enjoying their time. Bindi has since taken a liking/loving to our Chorkie Theo. She seems to think he's her new man although the male dogs are neutered so she's SOL 🤣

Machi Machi Machi!!
This boy is all over the place killing unicorns and coming over to look at me like "what? It tastes good like your shoes!"
4 months and 10 days old.
He's still looking for his forever home!
I want to keep him for myself but I feel like he would benefit in a home where he gets his own human all to himself.

Update on our last litter!
Charlie (Java) went home yesterday with his new favorite person! He has a teeny 3lb brother who he loves already!
Blue absolutely loves his new mama but has quickly became besties with Gus his new fur brother.
Louis (Mocha) is loving life with his new mama and 2 human siblings!
Then there is Machi... he spread his wings last Sunday and made a full round trip back home to us yesterday. He doesn't really care much for little kids so his placement fell through.
He is available but any potential home will be screened. No young kids and must have the ability to work with him when he gets nervous.
For now Machi is doing just fine back home with us, so much so that he's become a bed hog and I must move over for him to be able to sleep up against me 😂

This is our last litter. Dusty goes in on Thursday to be neutered. While I am going to miss the pure bliss of new puppies, this last time proved that it is a lot of work in finding the perfect homes and is heart wrenching having spent the last 4 months with them to see them fly the coop. So much time and love has went into our M&D's Lida Chi’s 💙

Our little trio is 12 weeks old already! That's 3 months of us spoiling them rotten! Our hearts are exploding with the pure joy of watching these munchkins grow ❤
This last weekend the 2 bigger brothers got to go on a camping trip with our family. 4 hour trip one way and not a peep out of them after 15 minutes. They slept the whole way! Blue got to hang out with his new bestie's Lou and Lisa.. Lou is another long hair chi and they just loved Blue's company 💙
Machi Java and Blue are still waiting for someone to come sweep them up!
Potty pad training is going awesome! They've been enjoying some outdoor time chasing after mama and daddy. We set up the kiddy pool with a small amount of water to see if they like to jump in and cool off with this hot weather we got coming this week. Can't wait to see them in action with their zoomies 🤣

This is the happy face of Odie - yes he has a smile! ( Ole one of our pups from a litter) when he got 3rd in an agility class at the dog show in Fergus Falls today! Super proud of this little mighty boy and his mama Kayla! This was his first big outing and a show at that and placed 3rd! Sweet little man!! Congrats Odie and his big brother Joshua who showed him today ❤

At this time we do NOT plan on any future litters. Bindi will be going in for a health check and to determine if it is time to have her spayed. We wanted to share with everyone what it was like to have such amazing little human like dogs as part of their pack so for those who have a pup from us, consider your babies as gold 💛
We have 3 males still looking for that lap to snuggle up into so if you are seriously considering I suggest now is the time as this may be the last time to ever have a part of the M&D's Lida Chi's legacy 💛

Any future litter/litters we may have will require a half down non refundable deposit and a completed application with screening.
We did not do this with our last litter and we have now 3 pups that have been "spoken for-held" only to be walked out on due to changing minds....
This is not our standard of home selection.
If you are not serious about a forever home for any dog- please do not inquire with us or any other potential breeder/dog owner.
We put a lot of time and financial investments into these as should you if you are looking to place a pup in your care.
We are very serious about our puppies and will be going forward with our process of elimation for potential homes..
