With heavy hearts, Lennoxâs family has made the difficult decision to rehome him in hopes of finding the right forever home where he can thrive.
Lennox is a **10-month-old intact Anatolian Shepherd mix** (Anatolian Shepherd, Leonberger, and Belgian Malinois). He is up to date on all vaccinations and has a solid foundation in training. Lennox is trained on both an e-collar and prong collar and has been introduced to off-leash work.
Lennox is a loyal, intelligent dog who forms deep bonds with his family and loves spending time outdoors. He thrives when he has space to explore, clear structure, and a job to do. He is highly devoted to his people and possesses many of the natural guardian traits expected from his breed mix.
Lennox is not a dog who instantly loves everyone he meets. He is naturally cautious around strangers and takes time to build trust with new people. Because of this, he would do best with an experienced owner who understands guardian and working breeds and is committed to continuing his training, leadership, and socialization.
His ideal home would be a quiet rural environment, farm, or property with plenty of space. He would do best in a home without young children, cats, or frequent visitors. While he is deeply devoted to the people he knows, he is not comfortable with unfamiliar people without proper introductions and management.
Lennox is selective with other dogs. He can do well with stable, neutral female dogs that provide appropriate corrections and respect boundaries, but we believe he would be happiest and most successful as the only dog in the home.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision for his family, and our priority is finding the right fit for Lennox. We are committed to being completely honest about his history, temperament, and needs and will gladly discuss them with serious inquiries.
