🐾 Celebrating Our Amazing Team! ❤️

As we continue celebrating National Veterinary Technician Week, today we are highlighting two equally important members of our veterinary family—our wonderful Client Service Representatives, Alicia and Marcy!

Whether it's offering a friendly smile, providing a kind and reassuring voice to a worried pet parent, lending an extra hand when things get hectic, or giving a furry patient some much-needed love and attention, these ladies are always ready to help!

Their compassion, dedication, and willingness to jump in wherever they're needed make such a difference in the lives of our patients, clients, and fellow team members. They work hard, care deeply, and bring so much heart to everything they do.

We're so lucky to have Alicia and Marcy as part of our Westbrook family! Help us show these wonderful ladies some well-deserved love!

From comforting worried pet parents to sneaking in a few extra cuddles with our furry patients, these ladies do it all with compassion, patience, and a smile. 💕

They work hard behind the scenes to keep our days running smoothly, and their dedication makes a difference for our patients, clients, and entire team.

🍁🐾 Flannel, Fun & a Little Bit of Foolishness!🐾🍁

We had a Fun in Flannel day celebrating another one of our Vet Tech Week Spirit Days! ❤️🧡

We kicked off the morning with a delicious Panera breakfast, generously provided by Malorie from Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Thank you, Malorie, for helping us start our day off right! 🥯☕💕

The fun didn't stop there! Our team got to show off their creative side by making their own essential oil car diffusers, went on the hunt for hidden ducks, dogs, and frogs 🦆🐶🐸, and even participated in a Tapeworm Treasure Hunt! (Because only in veterinary medicine would hunting for tapeworms be considered a fun team activity! 😂🪱)

Between the cozy flannels, tasty treats, and lots of laughs, it was another great day celebrating the amazing people who make our hospital so special!

We couldn't ask for a better team!🐾❤️

🐾 The heroes behind the scenes deserve a little extra love! 🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the amazing people who work tirelessly behind the scenes (and sometimes in the middle of a little furry chaos!) to keep our hospital running smoothly and our patients happy, healthy, and well cared for! ❤️

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on three more wonderful members of our team: Veterinary Technicians Kelly and Brianna, and Veterinary Assistant Martha!

From drawing blood, administering vaccines, assisting doctors, cleaning kennels, answering questions, and giving endless belly rubs—our vet techs do a little bit of everything. ❤️

Their knowledge, compassion, patience, and dedication make a difference in the lives of pets and their families every single day.

🐾 Comfy, Cozy & CRUSHING IT!💤🍩🍕

Day 2 of our Vet Tech Week Spirit Days was all about staying comfy while doing what we do best—caring for our amazing patients! Our team traded their scrubs for pajamas and their coziest clothes, proving that you can be comfy AND still crush it! 💪🐶🐱

Of course, no celebration is complete without some delicious treats!

🍩 We started the day with donuts from Atkins Farms Country Market, because we DONUT know what we'd do without our incredible techs and CSRs!

🍕 Then we enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch from Antonio's in Belchertown, generously provided by Devon at Boehringer Ingelheim, because every SLICE of our success starts with our amazing team!

A huge thank-you to Devon for treating us, and an even BIGGER thank-you to our hardworking crew who give their all every single day—even when they're wearing pajamas! 😂❤️

Great teams are made of all the right ingredients, and we're lucky to have the BEST! 🐾💕

🐾💙 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 💙🐾

Today we’re shining the spotlight on some of the most important members of our veterinary team: our Certified Veterinary Technicians, Kim and Brittany!

Did you know that becoming a CVT requires completing an accredited veterinary technology program, passing a national licensing exam, and meeting ongoing continuing education requirements?

Our CVTs bring an incredible combination of medical knowledge, technical skills, compassion, and dedication to our hospital every single day. They are caregivers, advocates, educators, problem-solvers, and compassionate friends to the patients and families we serve. From comforting nervous pets to assisting with procedures and monitoring anesthesia, they bring skill and heart to every shift.

We're so lucky to have these talented professionals on our team! Please join us in celebrating our CVTs and thanking them for everything they do!

🍰🐾 It’s National Dessert Day! And your pet would like to formally request a bite. 😂

Those puppy-dog eyes may be very convincing, but before you share your sweet treat, remember: chocolate, grapes/raisins, xylitol, and caffeine are a big NO for pets. 🚫🍫🍇 Those treats may look delicious, but they can be dangerous for our furry customers!

Instead, give your furry foodie a pet-safe treat and let them join the dessert celebration! 🐶🐱🧁 Because nothing says “I love you” quite like a delicious snack… that won’t land you at the vet clinic.

So today, skip the people dessert for your pets and serve up something pet-approved instead. Because every good dessert date is better with a wagging tail or a happy purr! 😉💕

As a veterinary community, we’re grateful for the deep connections between people, animals, land, and community that have been respected and nurtured by Indigenous peoples for generations.
