🌧️ FRIDAY NIGHT RACE UPDATE 🌧️

After nearly 48 hours of steady rain, we’re happy to report that the arena is looking GOOD! 🙌🏼 Between the rain and the loads of sand we’ve added, we’re looking forward to some great ground Friday night! 🐎💨

There is still some rain in the forecast for Friday, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather. If Friday’s rain changes our plans, we do have our next scheduled rain date available - October 23.

👀 We’re watching the weather closely and will keep everyone updated as we get closer to Friday.

For now, we’re planning to RACE! 🤠🏁

🥇 Four Series Championship Buckles will be awarded — one to the 1st-place rider in each Open 4D division.

🎉 WE HAVE AN ARENA SPONSOR! 🎉

We are so excited to announce that Cobbco Land Services LLC. has joined us as an Arena Sponsor for the Altar Farms Buckle Series! 🤠🏆

COBBCO is helping us continue improving the arena and investing in the ground for our remaining races. Their support means so much to us and to all of the riders who come out to compete!

We have a lot of youth riders in this series, including several who are competing for the very first time, and we love having local businesses like COBBCO support opportunities like this for our kids and our equine community.

We have 4 races left through December, and we’re excited to keep making this series bigger and better!

Please help us show some love to COBBCO for supporting the Altar Farms Buckle Series! And if you have land that needs some work, give Shane a call for all your land service needs—from clearing and mulching to grading, excavation, ponds, driveways, and more!

Thank you, COBBCO, for investing in our arena, our riders, and our community! 🐴🏆

We’ve heard the feedback about the ground tonight, and we wanted to address it directly. ❤️

Our goal is always to provide a safe, consistent, and competitive surface for everyone who comes to Altar Farms. We know how important the ground is to both the horses and riders, and we take that responsibility seriously.

The arena was shanked last night, but with the clay we have, it can pack down considerably as it settles. Tonight showed us that we need to adjust our race-day ground prep accordingly, and we will be making those adjustments moving forward.

We appreciate everyone who came out and supported our race tonight, and we appreciate the riders who shared their concerns. We’re not going to get everything perfect every time, but we will always listen, learn, and work to make the next one better. ❤️🐴

Thank you for supporting Altar Farms!
