Sweet Mabel had a little unexpected excitement during her morning walk!

During her walk, Mabel suddenly started limping. Her family checked her paw but couldn't find anything unusual. When she started crying out, and licking and nibbling at her little leg, her worried family brought her in to see us. After a thorough physical exam, our veterinarian suspected a possible bite or sting that may have triggered an allergic reaction.

We gave Mabel some injections to help ease her discomfort and sent her home with additional medication so she could rest and recover comfortably.

Even the smallest things can cause big discomfort for our furry friends!

🍀Clover's family noticed that some of her favorite things were becoming a little difficult. Clover usually loves standing up on her back legs for a tasty treat, but suddenly she wasn't doing that. She even wanted to hop up on the couch but couldn't quite manage it.

With a history of back pain, these subtle changes were a sign that something wasn't right.

Our pets can't tell us when they're hurting, but their behavior often speaks volumes!

Kane had quite the adventure when he ran into his porch while chasing an armadillo through his yard! His family was understandably worried and brought him in to make sure he was okay.

Thankfully, by the time Kane arrived, he was back to his happy, normal self. Our veterinarian’s physical exam was normal, and after being checked out, his owners decided the best place for him was back home to relax and recover from his exciting adventure. ❤️🐶

We’re so glad this story ended with Kane feeling like himself again!

Teddy’s quick-thinking owner helped save him after he snatched grapes from dinner. 🍇

We promptly induced vomiting and retrieved the toxic fruit. Blood work was also done to ensure Teddy's kidneys and liver were unaffected. 🩺🐶

Grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs, and even small amounts can be dangerous. Always act fast and contact your veterinarian if your pet ingests something harmful. We’re here for all urgent pet health needs. 🐾

Not every outdoor adventure goes according to plan—just ask Maggie! 🐝

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.
