Today, our sweet, silly, handsome boy Gage found his forever home with one of our amazing volunteers!
Last September, Gage had a growth removed from his foot. Being the smart, persistent boy he is, he somehow managed to find ways to remove his wraps. Trust us… we tried everything! He even spent several months as an office dog so our staff could keep a close eye on him throughout the day. Eventually, we discovered that most of the damage was happening in his kennel.
Thankfully, we have some incredible volunteers who stepped up over the last couple of months to foster Gage and give his foot the time and care it needed to fully heal.
A huge thank-you to our medical team, kennel staff, front office staff, and amazing volunteers who helped care for Gage throughout his long healing journey. It truly takes a village, and Gage was surrounded by so much love every step of the way.
But most importantly, thank you to the wonderful volunteer who opened their heart and home to Gage and gave him the second chance he so deserves. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy!
Happy tails, Gage! May your next chapter be filled with endless love, cozy naps, and all the happiness you deserve.
