If you’re not breeding for show stock, than what are you doing for the good of the breed?

Many breeders now days have their own “vision” or “views” on how the American bully should look, but the thing is there is only one standard to follow by, and if you haven’t done your research to know what that standard is then you are part of the problem.

First step to breeding is to evaluate your breeding, what are you lacking with female, and what can the male help you with, vise versa.. I’d always recommend going to a few ABKC shows and see what dogs are winning best of their class, and what dog wins best in breed. There is how you’ll get a better understanding of what the standard calls for, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.. you will never learn if you don’t ask.
