I do not consider myself to be a gummy bear person but..
Ollie's has a red cinnamon gummy bear. It brings the heat & kills the too sweetness. My dad used to always have one of those hard candy cinnamon disks in his pocket. I guess my flavor buds were shaped at a young age.

Brilliant!

In 2018,Taka was badly injured in a
house fire in Martinez, GA. He has deep scars on his
face and back, and large parts of his fur are burned off.
But that doesn't stop him from living a full life.

After Taka recovered, his owner, Chrystal Lesley,
enrolled him for training to become a therapy dog for
burn victims in a local burn center. Even though he is 9
years old, he was accepted.

"I'm very proud of him," she says. "He's a very good dog.'

Just checking in after a minor hiatus from posting. This summer has had its physical & mental challenges. First, the lovely heat extremes and secondly, there has been a plethora of physical/medical issues for many close friends.
I don't know about your coping mechanisms but these canine companions not only are our guardians/fighters against real or perceived evils, to our overly interested co-workers who both celebrate & judge our daily activities to the compassionate clowns who greet us with acrobatic displays of joy to a silent moral support of just sitting staring inquiries of 'are you okay?
Love those puppers, stay in contact w/ old friends, strive to healthier & if you or someone needs some Rattitude in your life contact me. 🫡

You know I have greyhounds in addition to my ratties. They are a good compliment to the ratties. What North Shore points out is that breed characteristics need to be compatible with lifestyle &/or mental stimulation. I affectionately call them "tiny terrorist" because we've seen what a bored terrier can do.
I'm thankful that I see my pups in active stimulating environments, those who participate in sporting, active lifestyles & those who tend to the daily activities of their humans.
Moral of the story: Quality of Life is an important factor in greyhounds & ratties!
Be Kind everybody. We're all on this planet together. We have more in common than the things that often divide us. 🫶

I currently have all females in jail. So nice of them to chronolgically synchronize their heat cycles. Sims spends every waking hour guarding his harem. At least he's getting his weight down a bit! 🤦‍♀️
