I wanted to post this chart for all my dog lovers about the heat and your dogs. As we are approaching continuing rising temperatures it’s important to remember dogs are very susceptible to extreme heat. You can use this handy dandy chart to check if it’s safe and how long it’s safe to have your fur babies outside in the summer temps.

✂️ Don’t wait until the next litter, the next stray, or the next emergency vet bill. Prevention matters — and there are STILL a few spots left in this month’s low-cost spay/neuter clinic through Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society!

Current remaining openings:
🐱 6 male cat spots
🐶 9 male dog spots

Spaying and neutering helps reduce unwanted litters, roaming, fighting, spraying, certain cancers, and overcrowding in shelters like ours. Every appointment makes a difference not only for your pet, but for the community as a whole.

✔️ Low-cost pricing
✔️ Optional vaccines, microchips, testing, and preventatives available
✔️ Feral cat pricing available for true community cats in humane traps

📍Animals must weigh at least 2 lbs for surgery.
📍Rabies vaccine required for animals 4 months and older unless proof is provided.
