Someone posted on the Pataskala page today that they saw dogs outside in our daycare yards today while it was raining. They insinuated that the dogs were left unattended (because there was no car in the lot) and left out in the rain. This was my response to that posting.

Hi, my name is Jodi the owner of Broadway Kennels. I was there all morning and we take very good care of all of the dogs. We have a daycare attendant who is always on duty. She never leaves. She lives to the left of the kennel towards Columbus and often walks to work. She does not own a car, so on rainy days her Mom or Grandma drops her off. The dogs have access at all times to the indoors where it is kept warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The dogs also have access to the sun room that you see attached to the front lobby. They come in and out all day long. Hollis is the black shepherd-she loves being outside and enjoys the rain, snow and sunshine. She visits Monday-Friday and has since birth. The owner’s previous dog spent 15 years visiting us daily. He was like my own dog and it was hard to say goodbye. We allow dogs to play in all weather at Broadway. They are NEVER left unattended and we have cameras on them at all times and on our employees. My brother lives in the house in the woods and keeps an eye on things too. I assure you the dogs are loved, cared for and have complete access to a warm and dry area. I answer all calls that come in to Broadway. I was grooming dogs all morning and didn’t have a chance to answer the call that came in when Joy called because I was on a call with a customer. We have been in business since 1993 and I would never harm any animal, nor would I allow my staff.
