It’s that time of year! Brick City Rescue is getting ready for our annual Home for the Howlidays event on Friday, December 4, 2026, from 7–10 PM at 18th Amendment in Rutherford, NJ! 🎅🐶

This night is all about celebrating the holidays while raising much-needed funds for the dogs in our care — and we need YOUR help to make it a huge success! ❤️

Don’t let those tough-guy looks fool you… Turbo is ALL heart. ❤️

This handsome 4-year-old boy is the perfect combination of zoomies + snuggles. His name comes from his lightning-fast bursts of energy, but once he’s gotten his exercise, Turbo transforms into the sweetest, most gentle and submissive cuddlebug.

💙 Loves long walks
💙 LOVES affection
💙 Great with kids
💙 Gentle and sweet
💙 Always ready for a good cuddle
💙 And apparently has a serious appreciation for a full water bowl! 😂💦

Turbo doesn’t need anything fancy. Give this boy some exercise, a little patience, plenty of love, and a family willing to let him soak up all the affection he can get—and he’ll be one happy guy.

🐾 PLEASE SHARE FOR LEELOO 🐾

❣️Foster / Adopter Needed❣️

10 years young and still absolutely in love with life. ❤️

Leeloo loves everyone she meets and is wonderful with kids, dogs AND cats! She loves her walks, being outdoors, and most of all, being with her person.

Sadly, the only person Leeloo has ever known and loved passed away, and suddenly this sweet girl has found herself without a home. 💔

We are desperate to find Leeloo a foster or forever home so she never has to experience shelter life.

Leeloo was recently diagnosed with diabetes and requires two insulin shots a day—but she is an absolute trooper with her care and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. She still has plenty of life, love and adventures ahead of her! 🐾

Even better, Leeloo’s current vet in the Wayne/Fairfield area has generously offered to continue her care at a discounted rate for the special person willing to step up for her.

Leeloo lost her person. Please help us make sure she doesn’t lose her home, too.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED — LEELOO HAS NOWHERE TO GO 🚨

Leeloo is 10 years old, 63 lbs., and suddenly without the person and home she knew. 💔 Her owner passed away, and now this sweet senior girl is facing an uncertain future through no fault of her own.

Right now, Leeloo is staying at her veterinarian’s office while everyone desperately hopes someone will step forward and give her a soft place to land. But a vet’s office is not a home. At 10 years old, she deserves a couch, a warm bed, and a person to love again. 🥺❤️

And Leeloo has SO much love to give.

🐾 House trained
🐾 Good with kids
🐾 Good with other dogs
🐾 Walks nicely on a leash
🐾 Loves being with her human
🐾 63 lbs. of sweetness looking for someone to call her own

Leeloo is diabetic, so she will need special food and ongoing medical care. We know that may sound intimidating, but please don’t let it stop you from considering her. Her veterinarian (Fairfield/Wayne are) is willing to work with us and offer discounted medical care to the special person willing to open their home and heart to her. ❤️

Leeloo has already lost her person. She shouldn’t have to lose the comfort of having a home, too.

We are urgently searching for a foster or adopter who can give this beautiful senior girl the security and love she deserves for the rest of her life.

Maybe you can’t foster — but someone you know might be able to. Please SHARE Leeloo far and wide. One share could reach the person she’s waiting for. 🙏🐾
