Here’s what we’ve learned about Toby so far!
🐾 He LOVES people. Toby came from a very loving, spoiled home with a retired couple who spent a lot of time with him, so he is happiest when he gets to be around his people. We would love to see him with someone who is retired, works from home, is a stay-at-home parent, or is simply home often. This is not a deal breaker if not possible but im sure Toby would appreciate that.
🐾 He does great with other dogs and loves to play, but he also really enjoys having his own space. He was an only child and he would thrive best in a home with no dogs or only 1–2 other dogs rather than a large pack.
🐾 While he didnt have kids in his home he loves kids but he does get a little overly excited and can knock smaller children over.
🐾 And probably the biggest thing we’ve learned… Toby was SPOILED. His previous family loved him tremendously! He has a wonderful personality he just needs someone willing to continue working with him on manners and boundaries while still giving him all the love he’s used to.
We are still waiting for Toby’s upcoming vet appointment before we officially begin 👀 for his new 🏡. I want to make sure everything checks out and take our time finding the RIGHT family for him. This will not be a first-come, first-served situation.
