As this special week comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible veterinary technicians who give so much of themselves to the patients, families, and team around them. At Pet Medical Center of Pasco, we are so lucky to have people whose hearts are just as big as their dedication to this profession. 🩺💕
To Julie, Jessica, Brandee, Jess, Melissa, Mandy, and Mikeal — thank you for all that you do, including the countless little things that may go unnoticed but make such a meaningful difference. From offering comfort to a frightened patient and reassuring a worried pet parent to stepping in to help a teammate when the day gets overwhelming, your kindness and compassion touch more lives than you may ever realize.
Veterinary medicine is a beautiful, but sometimes incredibly difficult, profession. It means celebrating the little victories, sharing in the joy of a patient going home, holding space for families during heartbreaking goodbyes, and finding the strength to show up again, even after the hardest days. Through every challenge and every triumph, you continue to give your time, your energy, and so much of your heart to the animals who depend on you.
As we wrap up this week, we hope you know just how much you matter. You are more than the treatments you perform, the appointments you get through, or the long days you work. You are the comfort in a scary moment, the reassurance in an uncertain one, the helping hand when someone needs it most, and an important part of what makes PMC feel like a team. The difference you make cannot always be measured or seen, but it is felt in the lives you touch every single day.
Thank you for loving the patients who come through our doors, for supporting the families who trust us with their beloved pets, and for showing up for one another. You deserve to be celebrated not just during Veterinary Technician Week, but all year long.
