This adorable gal goes by Daisy!

She is a 4 month old Goldendoodle who started her training journey today! Her mom wants her to be well-behaved, reliable, and welcome anywhere.

The twist..she has a littermate that’s also starting training today! Because they’re littermates, building individual confidence and clear boundaries from day one is the secret sauce.

Our strategy? Tag-teaming it! While one pup stays with me for focused one-on-one training, the other is working hard with Trainer Enrique.

We’re so excited to watch this girl crush her goals.

PSA for dog parents: If you constantly add toppers, extra treats, or wet food just to entice your dog to eat, you aren’t fixing their appetite…you’re playing their game.

Every time your dog holds out and you add something better to the bowl, they learn a simple lesson:
Waiting equals an upgrade.

You aren’t dealing with a picky dog; you’re accidentally creating one.

Dogs are master negotiators. When we constantly cater to their pickiness, we create a cycle where they hold out longer and longer to see what else we’ll offer.

Food is a resource, and eating should be driven by routine and appetite, not a negotiation.

I always tell my clients this: our dogs are not stupid…they will not starve themselves…but they will train you if you let them. 😉
