Today I turn 26, and I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting.
For four official years now I’ve been state licensed, I’ve been pet sitting for over 12 years, and I’ve been working at the shelter for 16. It’s kind of wild how fast time flies.

If you had asked younger me where I thought life would take me, I never would’ve imagined I’d be here—spending my birthday sitting in a yard full of dogs, completely content and happier than I could’ve dreamed.

There’s something really special about realizing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. My heart has always belonged with animals, and I feel so lucky that I get to spend my days with my four-legged friends, caring for them and doing what I truly love. ❤️
