🐾 Talk about BIG Beagle energy—meet Beau! 🐾
Beau is a 2-year-old, 28-pound tri-colored Beagle with the cutest mischievous face and a personality guaranteed to keep you laughing. 😂 His birthday is 9/26/23, and this handsome little guy is basically everything you love about a Beagle wrapped into one adorable package.
Beau is loyal, friendly, wicked smart, energetic, and ALWAYS ready for an adventure. His nose is constantly working, and his expression frequently says, “I’m up to something… can you figure out what?” 👀😂
And, well… sometimes he IS up to something. Beau came to us as an owner surrender because he happens to be an escape artist extraordinaire. For that reason, his forever home must have a secure physical fenced-in yard. This little detective cannot be trusted with an unsecured perimeter. 😂
🎾 Beau loves chasing tennis balls and would probably have a blast trying agility or other activities that keep his busy Beagle brain working. He can pull on walks, so his new family will need to continue working on those leash manners.
The good news? Beau already has some excellent house skills! He is reported to be crate trained and housetrained and will happily head into his crate when told “cage.”
🐶 Good with dogs — meet-and-greet required
👧 Good with children — ages 10+ preferred
🐱 No known experience with cats
🐰🦌 Rabbits and deer? Beau would very much like to chase them. 😂
Beau is not yet neutered and currently marks in the house, but he’ll wear a belly band and we expect the marking to improve after neutering.
