🏆 The Shelter Awards are in, and unfortunately these four have won categories nobody wants to win.

🌿 **Rosemary** — *Most Time Served*
Rosemary has watched dogs come and go. She's watched puppies of her own find families before she did. Every day she waits at the front of her kennel wondering, "Maybe today?" Somehow, today hasn't come yet.

🥚 **Eggbert** — *Next in Line Long Hauler*
Eggbert watches his outgoing friends work the room, charm visitors, and leave with families. He wishes he could do that too. He just needs someone patient enough to look past shy first impressions and see the wonderful dog underneath.

Mira graduated from a floor crate to a run. We even gave her one of the first runs where everyone can see her. Somehow people still keep walking by. She doesn't understand why, and honestly... neither do we.

🐸 **Frogbit** — *Most Unfairly Ignored*
Frogbit started his shelter journey in the small puppy cages. Then he graduated to a floor crate. We joke about what award he'll win next, but the truth is we hope we never find out. Because the next step would be the runs, and if Frogbit makes it there, he'll have been waiting far too long.

The dog days of summer are here, but its not all bad, theres plenty of dogs waiting to spend the summer with you! Just think: fun runs through the sprinkler, pups cups in the drive-through, and laying belly up in front of the fan in their forever home!
