This heat not only affects our daily activities, but it also impacts our farm animals. We do all we can to provide what they need to "beat the heat". Frozen water bottles are put into each rabbit pen to help them control their body temperature. Fresh water is provided several times during the day for all the farm animals. Shade canopies have been put up where there are no trees or other shade. We hope you are doing everything you can to keep your pets and yourself as comfortable as possible.

Perfect day for a farm tour for these families with Queen Anne Gale Group. One of the little guys mentioned they were from ‘Westlake, America’. Too cute!

the Parma Area Historical Society will NOT have a rummage sale at Stearns Homestead this year. Thanks for your past support. We will let you know if we have one in the Spring.

Farm friends from Jennings Center for Older Adults enjoyed the sunshine while visiting with the farm animals at Stearns today.

A huge thanks to Brian, the manager from Tractor Supply (TSC) in Broadview Heights. He delivered 50 BUCKETS to 4-H members at the Cuyahoga County Fair. Each bucket included horse treats, fly spray, baseball hats , water bottles and beef sticks. Thanks for your support!
