We would like to welcome Dr. Canchola to the Taylor Animal Hospital family! After graduating from the University of Missouri, he spent the first 20 years of his veterinary career in the US military. He has continued to practice in the Kansas City area and now joins us at both our Smithville and Parkville locations. He enjoys spending time outdoors and has two pets at home; a border collie named Tucker and a dachshund named Cat.

With spring cleaning right around the corner, you'll want to ensure that you're keeping toxins far away from your pet, including items such as: pool chemicals, drain cleaner, concentrated dishwashing chemicals, lime-removal products, oven cleaner, and concentrated toilet cleaners.

Do you know which plants could be toxic to your pet? Calla lilies, Easter lilies, and Lily of the Valley are all toxins when ingested by animals. If you believe your pet has ingested one of these plants, contact us immediately! https://bit.ly/4qStArz

Dogs and cats can suffer from seasonal allergies too! 🌸 Pollens and mold can cause itching, sneezing, and watery eyes. Keep them comfy with regular baths, closed windows, and clean bedding. 🐾
